In Q2 2020, dangerous electrical and electronic products increased by 67% in the USA and decreased by 13% in the EU, in comparison with Q1.

In the USA, 10 products were notified as unsafe. Five of these were in the IT and Telecommunications category. The main risk was burns.

The EU saw 72 unsafe product notifications. The main product categories were luminaires, with 39 products notified as unsafe, and IT and telecommunications, with 25 products notified as unsafe. Electric shock was the main risk in both of these categories.
