The number of cosmetics, personal care and household products notified as unsafe increased by 30% in the EU and remained steady in the USA, in comparison with the previous quarter.
There were 30 products notified as unsafe in the EU, 12 of which were skin whitening products.
In the USA, there were 7 dangerous products. Three of these were baby powders.
For both the USA and the EU, the main risk was chemical.
