Throughout our operations and supply chain, we commit to:
Climate change mitigation
As validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), SGS is committed to reaching net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain by 2050.
In the path to reaching net-zero, near and long-term science-based targets have been approved with the SBTi.
As part of our roadmap to achieve our SBTi targets, we commit to:
- Maintain our decreasing trend towards 46.2% reduction in scope 1 and 2 emissions
- Material progress towards 28% reduction in scope 3 emissions
- Further align with IFRS-S2 disclosure recommendations about climate-related risks and opportunities (previously, TCFD initiative)
