PCA NewslettersSeptember 09, 2026

We are proud to announce that we have been awarded a new three-year Pre-Shipment Verification of Conformity to Standards (PVoC) contract for exports to Tanzania from the China Zone, covering Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mongolia and Macau, effective May 1, 2026. This milestone reflects our expertise in conformity assessment and our continued commitment to supporting product quality, safety and compliance for goods entering the Tanzanian market.

Under this new contract, we will continue to provide comprehensive conformity assessment services, including laboratory testing, through our global network. Our goal is to support the Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) in reducing the importation of substandard products from the China Zone in the short term and contribute to reducing their prevalence in the long term. By doing so, we help safeguard public health, safety and the environment while promoting fair competition for local manufacturers.

Why this matters

This contract award highlights our proven ability to deliver reliable conformity assessment services at scale. Through our global network and technical expertise, we help facilitate compliant trade, support the objectives of the TBS and promote product quality and safety for goods entering Tanzania.

Conclusion

Securing this new PVoC contract is a testament to our dedication to quality and client satisfaction. We are excited to continue our partnership with TBS and contribute to the safety and well-being of Tanzanian consumers. Our commitment to excellence remains unchanged and we look forward to delivering exceptional services that drive success for our clients and stakeholders.
