Sampoerna Schools System, which offers a seamless education pathway from Pre-Kindergarten through University Education via Sampoerna Academy and Sampoerna University, has partnered with SGS to provide enhanced control of its current hygiene and disinfection protocols, fit for COVID-19 purposes, to ensure the safety of its employees and students during the reopening of its head office and campuses.
Today, it is more important than ever to ensure hygiene and disinfection protocols on campus properties are taken to the next level, with increased cleaning frequencies, enhanced training and specialization of cleaning staff and the use of appropriate products. Sampoerna Schools System regards the safety and well-being of its students and everyone in the community as its most important priority during these challenging times. This is why both Sampoerna Academy and Sampoerna University are collaborating with SGS to help all of their campus properties effectively manage their health and safety concerns, so that all of their employees, teachers/lecturers and students can enjoy a healthy and safe campus environment and fun learning activities on campus.
SGS provides a range of disinfection monitoring solutions to help prevent the spread of novel coronavirus and keep students, employees and everyone in the community safe. The collaboration focuses on on-site and remote management and supervision services to ensure the effectiveness of cleaning and disinfection procedures, including assessments of documented cleaning and disinfection procedures inspired by international standards, validation of the efficacy of disinfection procedures and cleaning agents according to the latest approved registered product lists, identification of possibly affected areas and surfaces, mapping of exposure routes and transmission pathways for COVID-19 as well as intensive training in adequate cleaning and disinfection procedures.
SGS’s health and safety experts, trained in infection prevention and control procedures, will also validate and inspect post-cleaning procedures with walk-through inspections and supplementary environmental surface sampling, to assess the effectiveness of cleaning and disinfection programs and the extent and persistence of COVID-19 on surfaces. In addition, SGS will use specific signage to identify disinfected areas and the SGS Hygiene Monitored Mark to display conformity with international guidelines and standards (WHO, CDC, ECDC, ISO 45001) as well as Indonesian Ministry of Health and local regulations.
The collaboration project will be conducted at all six campuses of Sampoerna Academy – L’Avenue Campus (Jakarta), BSD Campus (Greater Jakarta), Sentul Campus (Bogor), Cipto and Citra Campuses (Medan) and Pakuwon Indah Campus (Surabaya), as well as Sampoerna University Campus in L’Avenue Jakarta.
