SGS Encourages Vendors to Check Claims that PPE and COVID-19 Test Kits have been Tested or Certified
Since the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus, COVID-19, SGS has become aware of the activities of certain vendors of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and COVID-19 test kits who are making claims that their products are SGS tested or certified.
If you have purchased or are considering purchasing such products, we encourage you to obtain proof of SGS testing/certification and upload via this form for authentication.
For COVID-19 test kits in particular, there are currently no valid SGS IVDD Certificates of Conformity in circulation. No such certificates have been issued since the emergence of COVID-19. If a vendor has supplied you with a certificate making this claim, we encourage you to upload it to our verification service.
