SGS Acquires Cargo Compliance Company, Netherlands
SGS is pleased to announce the acquisition of Cargo Compliance Company (CargoCC), headquartered near Schiphol in the Netherlands.
CargoCC is active in packing, storage, consulting, classification and professional training for the handling of dangerous goods. It operates offices and warehouses in Badhoevedorp and Schiphol. Privately owned, it employs 26 people and is expected to generate 2015 revenues of EUR 3 million.
“Combined with our existing dangerous goods compliance services, this transaction establishes SGS as the Dutch market leader in this growing segment,” said Frankie Ng, CEO of SGS. “It is aligned with our Oil, Gas and Chemicals strategy to broaden our dangerous goods and sample management activities.”
