SGS is pleased to announce the acquisition of Civil Quality Assurance Pty. Ltd. (CQA) in South East Queensland (SEQ).
CQA is a leading geotechnical and environmental consultancy and testing business. It operates 4 laboratories in SEQ, Australia’s fastest growing metropolitan region.
Founded in 1993 and privately owned, CQA employs 70 staff and generated revenue of approximately AUD 7 million in 2012.
“This acquisition is in line with both with our East Coast expansion strategy and our Global Infrastructure strategy. CQA complements and strengthens our Industrial Services offering in the region and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in civil infrastructure projects in material testing, engineering and pavement services in the Queensland market.
