Bicycle and e-mobility manufacturers seeking to bring innovative products to market quickly and efficiently face an increasingly diverse and complex regulatory landscape. As global supply chains become more geographically distributed, manufacturers require greater access to accredited testing services across key production and consumer markets.
To support the industry, we have expanded our global network of US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC)-accredited bicycle testing laboratories, adding new facilities in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; Waltrop, Germany; and Bentonville, Arkansas, USA. The expanded network helps manufacturers streamline compliance activities, reduce testing bottlenecks and accelerate access to international markets through accredited testing services closer to where products are developed, manufactured and sold.
The three newly accredited facilities build on our existing network of CPSC-accredited bicycle testing laboratories in Taiwan and China. Accreditations for the Ho Chi Minh City and Waltrop facilities were granted in March and June 2026, respectively. The Bentonville laboratory received accreditation in October 2026. Together, the five CPSC-accredited laboratories provide bicycle testing services across Asia, Europe and North America.
This expansion comes at a time when manufacturers seek greater flexibility in how they test products and demonstrate compliance for international markets.
Regulatory requirements are also evolving. For the US market, the CPSC is advancing electronic filing (e-Filing) requirements for certificates of compliance associated with regulated consumer products. As compliance processes become increasingly digitalized, manufacturers require efficient testing and compliance support backed by accredited laboratory data and recognized technical expertise.
Located within major manufacturing hubs and consumer markets, the newly accredited facilities provide easier access to testing services closer to where products are designed, manufactured and distributed. The expanded network also enables manufacturers with multi-country supply chains to access consistent testing methodologies, harmonized services and local technical support across regions.
