We are proud to announce that our business in Helsinki, Finland, SGS Fimko Oy, has been designated as a Notified Body under the EU Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, increasing the availability of local conformity assessment services in Europe.
Notified Body status grants authorization to deliver compliance verification services for all battery and accumulator categories in accordance with the EU Battery Regulation. The notification also includes procedures under Module D1 (quality assurance of the production process) and Module G (unit verification).

In addition, FINAS-accredited quality system certification services are available.
