We officially inaugurated our new SGS global headquarters in Baar, Switzerland, on January 29, marking a key milestone in our company’s long history.
The event brought together officials, clients, partners and employees, underscoring the importance of the new headquarters and our strong ties to the local business community.
The inauguration featured welcome remarks from our Chair of the Board, Calvin Grieder, and our CEO, Géraldine Picaud, alongside addresses from Matthias Michel, Member of the Swiss Council of States, and Silvia Thalmann-Gut, State Councilor of the Canton of Zug.
During the event, we also celebrated the achievements of 44west, the overall winners of the World’s Toughest Row - Atlantic. Proudly sponsored by SGS, the team recently completed the transatlantic challenge under our colors, exemplifying our shared values of trust, teamwork and performance.
