This is the sixth consecutive year that SGS has been recognized.
The CRO Leadership Awards, launched by the esteemed Life Sciences Leader and Clinical Leader journals, seek to reward outstanding CROs that operate within the life sciences sector. Customers that have outsourced projects to CROs over the preceding 18 months complete Industry Standard Research’s (ISR) annual CRO Quality Benchmarking survey. The survey assesses more than 50 CROs on over 20 performance metrics before determining the leaders in each category.
“We’re thrilled that SGS has been recognized for its outstanding work,” commented Johan Pype, Managing Director Benelux, SGS. “These awards demonstrate our unwavering commitment to providing first-class CRO services to all our customers, no matter the location, project demands or deadline. The team can be incredibly proud of all that it has achieved over the past 12 months – and we’re excited to see what the next year holds.”
"Selecting the right CRO can make or break your project,” says Ed Miseta, Chief Editor for Clinical Leader. "It can lead to a successful regulatory submission and approval or cost you a lot of time and effort on a failed study. These award-winners have proven themselves to be the top service providers in each category. I congratulate all of them for the work ethic they exhibit in consistently meeting the needs of their drug development clients.”
This recognition comes after a momentous year – one in which we opened our brand-new Clinical Pharmacology Unit (CPU) on the grounds of the Antwerp University Hospital. The new facility has considerably increased our ability to carry out groundbreaking clinical research.
As well as clinical research solutions SGS’s Health Science team provides a variety of mission-critical services ranging from formulation and analytical testing, to manufacturing and commercialization.
