Maicon, our Lab Supervisor for Electrics & Electronics in Brazil, shares how he ensures domestic electrical products are safe and energy efficient.
Maicon and his team work with manufacturers of domestic electrical appliances, such as refrigerators, stoves and washing machines, to not only make sure they perform as they should but also to ensure they meet rigorous safety and energy efficiency standards. By using the latest testing techniques, if a product passes all of the tests, it can earn a label which evidences its energy efficiency and guarantees consumers of its safety and performance.
