In Russia, Shell's gas station network comprises over 370 stations across 29 cities. All stations need to comply with the latest industry standards for environmental and industrial safety, and Shell's stringent fuel quality and service requirements.
To ensure the quality of fuel, Shell has chosen SGS to conduct fuel quality monitoring across its entire fuel retail station network in Russia.
SGS will take samples and assess the quality parameters of the fuel. The SGS Fuel Quality Monitoring Program represents a guarantee of the fuel quality's meticulous control and also serves as a valuable communication tool for drivers and end-users of Shell's fuels.
SHELL NEFT, LLC, representative said: "Shell believes in the importance of having independent fuel quality monitoring from a reliable independent inspection company in an intensely competitive fuel market environment."
