The Awards – which will be held virtually on the May 5, 2021 – celebrate groundbreaking achievements and research within the global vaccine industry. Unlike previous years, companies and individuals can nominate themselves for any applicable awards, with the winners then decided by a combination of public votes and recommendations from the awards’ scientific advisory board.
Following on from last year’s success
Last year, we were delighted to receive the ‘Highly Commended’ award in the ‘Best Contract Research Organization’ category.
Johan Pype, Managing Director Benelux, SGS: “We are extremely pleased to be nominated for this prestigious award which confirms our achievements in continually setting standards of excellence and advocacy in the vaccine industry. We are working closely with so many of our honored peers, partners, and clients to safely and effectively unlock the world from this or any new threatening pandemic diseases and we will continue to invest to further develop new innovative solutions. In September 2021, our Clinical Pharmacology Unit will move to a brand new facility with increased capacity. This will allow us to expand our offering to Human Challenge Trials, as well as many other studies, helping to support pre-clinical evidence of efficacy, minimize risks, and maximize positive outcomes when progressing a new drug or vaccine into pivotal clinical studies.”
After a particularly noteworthy year, we’re confident that our excellent achievements will be recognized by all those who vote in the ViE Awards. Throughout the past 12 months we have, for example, provided biosafety, quality control and clinical research solutions to COVID-19 vaccine candidates.
The SGS Health Science team is continuously contributing to a safer and healthier environment. If you wish to lend your support and vote for SGS, head to the ViE Awards website.
Please be aware that voting opens on March 22 and closes on April 16.
