SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company, is pleased to announce that its pesticide testing laboratory in Callao, Peru, has extended and expanded its ISO/IEC 17025 certification through the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).
Building on the capabilities and capacity of this already successful lab, the scope of approval from A2LA for pesticide analysis includes 635 accredited molecules.
Following an assessment and audit process, A2LA approved that the SGS laboratory has sound business processes in place to deliver technically sound results and tests to their food and agricultural clients.

With turnaround times for testing as short as 24-hours the team in Callao can also arrange sample collection/delivery in strategic locations. In addition, the company’s ifood app provides clients with real-time results and data.
