The Spanish Entidad Nacional de Acreditación (ENAC) together with the Spanish National Cryptology Centre (CCN) accredit SGS Digital Trust Services CyberLab Madrid for LINCE Certification.
ENAC has accredited SGS CYBERLAB MADRID as an evaluation laboratory for the LINCE methodology according to UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 for Testing activities defined in the Technical Annex No 14/LE2531. The certificate confirms SGS Digital Trust Services as a trustworthy CyberLab. Employees of SGS Digital trust Services are authorized to test, verify and audit Information and Communication Technology product safety using the LINCE methodology.
LINCE Certification to Access CCN’s Trusted Products Catalog
LINCE certification provides access to the IT security product catalogues of the Spanish Public Administration and CCN. LINCE methodology, developed by Spanish CCN, addresses the need for the certification of products that are planned for deployment in environments where the threat level is basic or medium. This process enables an evaluation laboratory to verify whether a product is in accordance with its specification, determining the effectiveness of the security functions implemented.
LINCE – Accessible Evaluation
Based on Security Target (ST) and documentation provided to clients (user manuals) this evaluation is completed in less than two months. A LINCE basic evaluation can be augmented with the cryptographic or source code module, to provide a higher assurance level. For each module, evaluation time can increase by up to two weeks.
