Today, in line with SGS’s strategy of focusing on its strategic services, we announce the sale of our Pest Management and Fumigation activities in Belgium and the Netherlands to Anticimex. We expect to close the sale in the early part of H1 2020.
SGS has been operating PMF since 1982, with offices in Melsele (Belgium) and Beuningen (Netherlands). PMF had an annual turnover of approximately EUR 13 million in 2018 and employed around 100 employees. The transaction multiple is commensurate with recent M&A transactions of large platforms in the Pest Management market.
