SGS is pleased to announce the acquisition of Laboratorio de Control Técnico de Calidad de Construcción Eecolab Limitada (Eecolab), headquartered in Temuco, Chile.
Eecolab offers quality control testing of construction materials as well as soil mechanic studies and geophysical surveys in both the public and private sectors. The company holds a wide range of accreditations.
Founded in 2007 and privately owned, the company has 27 employees and is expected to generate 2016 revenues of approximately CLP 800 million (CHF 1.2 million).
“This acquisition is consistent with our strategy to enhance our industrial services offering in Chile and is complementary to the acquisition of SIGA last year”, said Frankie Ng, CEO of SGS.
