When implementing the 1st generation of eSource system at SGS, the focus was on facilitating data capture and converting clinical data directly to SDTM, making eCRF redundant. After getting familiar with eSource, we are now ready to use our gained knowledge and expertise and take eSource clinical automation to the next level with the 2nd generation of eSource system.

CDISC Library promises linked data and a REST API to deliver CDISC standards metadata for software applications to automate standards-based processes. With my background as a programmer, my curiosity was immediately triggered during the presentation on the CDISC 360 project, a REST API (Application Programming Interface), linked metadata and biomedical concepts!
