Rethinking beauty science

The theme of this year’s congress is “rethinking beauty science” and the congress will deal with the most current and relevant topics in the beauty science sector, divided into three specific groups:

• Rethinking science: skin, oral, sun and hair care – breakthrough technologies for cosmetic developments promoted by recent scientific research. New substances, new functions, new efficacies and new evaluation techniques.
• Rethinking beauty: texture, odor, color and multi-sensoriality – added value to cosmetics and the impact on uses, consumers and marketing. Cosmetic and beauty product experiences backed up by technology. 
• Rethinking nature: responsible cosmetic development – what have we learned from nature? How can we move toward guaranteeing safer cosmetic products?
