On 24 August 2023, SGS organized a special session in Karachi dedicated to creating awareness about women's health and well-being in the workplace.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 100 of SGS female employees.
This session aimed to equip our female workforce with knowledge and strategies to prioritize their health, achieve a fulfilling work-life balance, and excel in their professional lives.
We were honored to welcome a distinguished team from Rotary Club and MMI Hospital who joined hands with us in this noble endeavor.
SGS Pakistan Managing Director, Abdul Razzak Lakhani, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the dedication of our female employees in taking a proactive stance towards their health and well-being by actively participating in this session.
During the event, Mr. Ajaz Saya, the President of the Rotary Club of Karachi, shed light on the significance of well-being and awareness screenings, especially concerning breast cancer. He emphasized the vital medical facilities available at MMIH.
Furthermore, the session was enriched with motivational insights from Mr. Aamir Haider Butt, Joint Secretary, and Chairperson Shumaila Omar from Rotary Club Karachi.
Dr. Saima, a Breast Cancer Surgeon affiliated with MMIH, shared her expert knowledge and insights on this critical health matter.
