The seminar series attracted a total of 158 participants from the textile, footwear, automotive, and packaging industries, reflecting the growing demand for practical guidance on managing PFAS-related challenges and preparing for evolving global regulatory requirements.
The Jakarta session, held on 2 July 2026, welcomed 86 participants and was officially opened by Mike Bruinsma, Managing Director of SGS in Indonesia. In his opening remarks, he highlighted the increasing importance of proactive chemical management and the role of collaboration in helping businesses adapt to changing regulatory expectations while supporting safer and more sustainable production.

Across both locations, participants gained practical insights into the evolving PFAS regulatory landscape, strategies for reducing PFAS risks within manufacturing processes, and approaches to strengthening chemical compliance throughout the supply chain. The discussions also highlighted SGS's comprehensive PFAS solutions, helping organizations identify potential risks, meet regulatory requirements, and support product safety and sustainability objectives.
The seminar series also served as a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and industry collaboration, enabling participants to exchange experiences and explore practical solutions to emerging compliance challenges.
As regulatory expectations surrounding PFAS continue to evolve worldwide, SGS remains committed to supporting manufacturers with technical expertise, testing capabilities, and compliance solutions that help organizations navigate complex regulatory requirements, strengthen product integrity, and enhance market confidence.
