We are pleased to announce that the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) has renewed our mandate to provide pre-export verification of conformity (PVoC) services for goods entering the Kenyan market for the period 2026–2029.
Awarded in accordance with the provisions of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal (PPAD) Act, 2015, the contract will be effective for a period of three years commencing on February 9, 2026.
Under this new contract, we will provide PVoC services covering the following designated zones:
This renewal of our mandate – the seventh since the program’s inception – reflects KEBS continued confidence in our technical competence, global reach and commitment to facilitating safe, compliant and high-quality imports into the Kenyan market. It further reinforces our shared responsibility to protect consumers and the environment from substandard and non-compliant products.
The zones not included here, with the exception of China, are exempt from the PVoC program following recent policy changes introduced through a directive issued by the Government of Kenya.
