We are proud to announce that we have been awarded the Certificate of Excellence 2025 by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), in recognition of our outstanding commitment to delivering training on the GRI Standards and sustainability reporting across the Asia Pacific region.
We provide structured, GRI-aligned training programs that support professionals in building both technical knowledge and practical capabilities for sustainability reporting and ESG disclosure.
How is GRI changing?
The GRI is an independent international organization that develops widely used standards for sustainability reporting, enabling organizations to assess and communicate their environmental, social and governance (ESG) impacts.
With sustainability reporting requirements continually evolving, several significant GRI updates came into full effect on January 1, 2026, including:
- GRI 101: Biodiversity: introducing mandatory reporting on biodiversity impacts across the entire value chain
- GRI 14: Mining Sector: providing sector-specific disclosures to address unique environmental and social risks in the mining industry
In addition, GRI is introducing a Digitalization Standard, which incorporates specialized data tagging to enable machine-readable ESG information. This development supports AI-driven analysis and helps reduce the manual burden associated with sustainability data collection, management and assurance.
Supporting the GRI professional certification pathway
As part of our sustainability training portfolio, we deliver GRI-aligned training courses under the GRI Professional Certification Program, supporting professionals at different stages of their sustainability reporting journey through a structured professional learning pathway.
We support individuals seeking to progress towards the GRI Certified Sustainability Professional qualification. This globally recognized credential demonstrates professional competence in sustainability reporting.
Our training approach balances foundational knowledge with practical application, while emphasizing the importance of continuous professional development to meet evolving ESG expectations.
GRI launches new professional pathway: streamlining global ESG reporting
This new learning path reflects the growing intersection between voluntary standards and mandatory regulations. It introduces enhanced focus in key areas, including:
- Interoperability leadership: the new “Transparency for Tomorrow” module equips professionals to align GRI reporting with other global frameworks such as the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB)
- Sector specific expertise: expanded use of GRI Sector Standards strengthens industry-relevant sustainability disclosures
- Impact driven human rights reporting: enhanced emphasis on due diligence and transparency in social impact reporting
