Carbon analyses at SGS laboratories follow standardized methods and sample preparation techniques worldwide. Our carbon methods and equipment include the LECO carbon-sulfur analyzer and high temperature combustion infrared detection. During this procedure, the carbon in your sample is converted to carbon dioxide CO2, which is then measured by infrared (IR) detectors.
