In July 2024, SGS agreed the acquisition of Institut d'Expertise Clinique (IEC), significantly expanding its global cosmetic testing capabilities. This acquisition integrates IEC's testing centers across Europe (Bulgaria, France), Asia (China, Japan, Korea and Singapore) and South Africa into SGS's existing network.
We present SGS's global network for in vitro tests, clinical safety and efficacy studies, and consumer testing for cosmetic products, with a spotlight on IEC France and its subsidiaries.
