New State-of-the-Art Bicycle, e-Mobility and Packaging Laboratory Opens in the Heart of the US Cycling Ecosystem

Our state-of-the-art laboratory in Bentonville, Arkansas, USA, provides dedicated testing and certification services for bicycles, e‑bikes, micromobility products and transit packaging. The facility enhances our North American capacity by delivering localized expertise and efficient turnaround times for manufacturers and retailers.

Manufacturers in the bicycle and micromobility sectors face growing expectations for product safety, performance and regulatory compliance. The newly opened Bentonville laboratory is designed to support these needs through a focused range of testing services aligned with US and international requirements.

Equipped to evaluate both products and packaging, the laboratory helps manufacturers demonstrate compliance, validate performance and improve product quality across the product life cycle.

Located in one of the fastest-growing cycling regions in the United States, the Bentonville laboratory offers convenient market access and is fully integrated into our global laboratory network, supporting streamlined certification across multiple markets while maintaining consistent quality and compliance standards.

In collaboration with our Suwanee, Georgia, laboratory, the Bentonville site forms part of an integrated testing solution for the full bicycle and e‑mobility ecosystem, including:

  • Battery and electrical safety testing for e-bikes
  • UL/CSA 60950-1, 62368-1 (chargers)
  • 47 CFR Part 15 (radio frequency devices)
  • Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing
  • UL 2849 (e-bike electrical systems)
  • UL 2271 (batteries)

Restricted substances and chemical toxicity testing services are also available through our Fairfield, New Jersey, facility, ensuring compliance with CPSIA, REACH and a wide range of global regulations.

Accreditations

Our facility is in the process of obtaining accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 and ISTA requirements.
