• Data Quality

  The quality of the initial data directly determines how well the AI will work. If the input data is accurate, complete or of good quality the AI will produce accurate and reliable results. However, if the data is flawed or biased, the results from the system will be of low quality or inaccurate.

• Performance

  The performance of AI requires continuous testing and monitoring because real-world environments are constantly changing. Changes in user behavior or new data patterns can lead to model drift, reducing model accuracy. Without regular monitoring, the system may produce erroneous results without warning. Therefore, continuous testing and monitoring ensure that the AI remains accurate, stable, and appropriate for the current situation.

• Bias

  Because the root causes of bias can be embedded within the training data, such as having more data on certain groups than others, the AI will learn with a bias from the start. Even with good data, if the model or learning method places too much emphasis on certain factors, the results may still be unfair. • Reliability

  The reliability of AI systems is crucial because AI is often used in tasks that impact business decision-making or service continuity. If the system is unstable or unpredictable, it can lead to damage such as service disruptions or incorrect decisions. Furthermore, designing a system with error mitigation measures (such as backup systems or alerts) helps reduce the risk of system failure and prevents erroneous results from having a widespread impact, enabling the organization to operate more reliably and securely.

  This is important because it helps us understand "why the AI made that decision." When AI can explain the reasons or factors used in its decision-making, users can verify its accuracy, assess its appropriateness, and have more confidence in the results. Furthermore, it helps in detecting errors, reducing the risk of incorrect decision-making, and supporting compliance with various laws and standards. Therefore, the ability to explain results is key to making AI transparent, reliable, and ready for confident practical use.
