The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) has received the ISO 27001:2022 ISO/IEC certificate in information security management system awarded by SGS.
NCSI was granted the ISO 27001 certificate in a ceremony held at their office in Muscat, Oman, after successfully passing all rounds of evaluation and audit to verify compliance with the requirements of this standard.
His Excellency Dr. Khalifa bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Barwani, CEO of NCSI, clarified that the award is a result of NCSI's relentless efforts in providing secure statistical information for all tasks and work assigned to it and for the update of its electronic services.
The certification underscores NCSI's commitment to stringent security standards, bolstering trust and safeguarding information integrity.
