Kuwait Proteins Company was established in 1982. Its professional scope covers distribution of goods from its own warehouses in Sabhan to supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, wholesalers, catering companies, mini-marts, bakeries, pastry shops, eCommerce platforms, and convenience stores.
As an integral and important member of the food supply chain, Kuwait Proteins Company realizes its role in assuring food safety of the product delivered to consumers. The company has been dedicated to upholding the highest levels of food safety in its operations and decided to establish a food safety management system as per the ISO 22000 international standard.
In 2018, Kuwait Proteins Company has been first certified against ISO 22000.
In 2023, the company made the strategic decision to partner with SGS as their certification body.
Following a thorough audit process conducted by SGS experts, in February 2024 Kuwait Proteins Company successfully obtained their ISO 22000 certificate from SGS under EIAC accreditation.
