SGS has recently delivered an accredited Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA) training course for Arkan Mfg Paper Cup, a Saudi producer of disposable paper cups catering to various industries including food and beverage, hospitality, and retail.
The training took place in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The HARA training course, endorsed by BRCGS (British Retail Consortium Global Standards), focused on equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to identify potential hazards and assess risks within their manufacturing processes.
Through interactive sessions led by the BRCGS Approved Tutor Eng. Ahmad Al-Khawaja from SGS Jordan, participants gained valuable insights into best practices for identifying hazards, evaluating risks and implementing effective control measures.
We’ve been cooperating with Arkan Mfg Paper Cup since 2021 to certify them against 2 international standards: BRCGS Packaging Materials and FSC Chain of Custody. Happy to help further enhance personnel’s knowledge with SGS Academy courses.

By investing in professional development opportunities like accredited HARA training courses, Arkan Mfg Paper Cup demonstrates their commitment to delivering safe and reliable products to customers.
