Our team from SGS Pakistan organized an insightful seminar for companies involved in cosmetics, personal care and hygiene production and distribution. 

Speakers from SkinCare Pakistan, Dabur Pakistan Limited, Jo’s Beauty, Ana & Batla Industries Pvt Ltd, Khaadi as well as experts from SGS Pakistan and SGS France delivered presentations on various topics.

Mr Mudassir Nazir from SGS Pakistan made and introduction of SGS Health & Nutrition Services.

Ms Rubeena Jokhio from Skin Care Company shed light on the challenges surrounding whitening creams, formulation gaps, and the misuse of depigmentation agents. Her talk emphasized the importance of responsible practices and their impact on the well-being of consumers.

Mr M. Umair Nabi, representing Dabur Pakistan Limited, captivated the audience with his enlightening session on the digitization of quality control in cosmetic and personal care productions. His in-depth exploration of technological advancements highlighted their significance in ensuring product quality and safety.

Ms Jovita Alexander Lazarus from Jo's Beauty delved into the challenges faced by emerging entrepreneurs in the cosmetics and personal care industry. Her inspiring talk motivated and guided aspiring business owners, empowering them to overcome obstacles and succeed in their ventures.

Mr Syed Owais Ali from Ana & Batla Industries Pvt Ltd shared his expertise as a Quality Control and NPD Manager. His insightful discussion emphasized the critical role of maintaining rigorous quality standards and driving innovation within the industry.

Mr Hubert Brundu, Cosmetics & Hygiene – Global Technical Manager from SGS France, enlightened us about the importance of vegan testing and stability studies. His thought-provoking session emphasized the need for ethical and sustainable practices in the cosmetics and personal care industry.

Mr Danish Alvi, the Lead Auditor & Trainer from SGS Pakistan, provided valuable knowledge on GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) for cosmetics. His comprehensive talk highlighted the significance of adhering to quality standards for the overall success and reputation of brands.

Ms Sama Arshad and Mr Wajid Abbas from Khaadi introduced "Kreate Your Mark". This platform paves the way for women entrepreneurs in Pakistan to own their ambition and dream big. It aims to accelerate economic empowerment by providing support to build the necessary business acumen, through connecting and collaborating from SGS platform.

Ms Mishal Amanat from SGS Pakistan covered the regulations of cosmeceuticals / cosmetics in Pakistan

Ms Fariha Yousufi from SGS Pakistan covered a wide range of topics, including new trends in the industry, technology approaches, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and clinical studies. Her comprehensive insights provided attendees with a holistic understanding of these crucial aspects.
