Understanding the ISO 26000 Social Responsibility Standard

The purpose of this white paper is to provide an introduction to the ISO 26000 standard on social responsibility. This document is not intended to be a full explanation of the standard or of its implementation. Rather, it aims to promote understanding of the standard and its benefits to organizations adopting socially responsible behavior, as well as providing information on how the ISO 26000 standard relates to and can be assessed alongside other standards and assessments, both at international and national level.
