We are pleased to announce that Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE) has been recently certified by SGS against ISO 27701:2019.
This latest achievement adds to SITE’s extensive portfolio of certifications, including ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27017, ISO/IEC 27018, CSA Star, ISO 9001, ISO 22301, and ISO/IEC 20000.
Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE) was established in 2017 and is wholly owned by Public Investment Fund (PIF). SITE contributes through its national capabilities and international partnerships to the development of secure-by-design, innovative offerings in cybersecurity, cloud computing, systems integration, software house, and human capital development.
Since 2021, SGS Saudi Arabia has collaborated with SITE and certified in various management systems (i.e. ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27017, ISO/IEC 27018, CSA Star, ISO 9001, ISO 22301, ISO/IEC 20000).
Recently, SITE has achieved ISO/IEC 27701:2019 (PIMS) certification, and this certificate was presented to the head of Corporate Quality on 22 September 2023.
ISO 27701 is a highly sought-after certification that ensures compliance with the recently released KSA Personal Data Privacy Act. As businesses continue to navigate the complex landscape of data privacy regulations, SITE has taken proactive measures by partnering with SGS to achieve this prestigious certification.
By successfully obtaining the ISO 27701:2019 certificate from SGS, SITE demonstrates their dedication to protecting customer privacy and complying with data protection laws.
