We are proud to announce that SGS has been selected by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as an authorized body to issue Certificates of Conformity (CoC) for childcare products. This esteemed appointment comes under the UAE Cabinet Resolution No. (34) of 2019.

The SGS laboratory in Dubai is IEC/ISO 17025 accredited and tests a variety of childcare products and beyond. With our deep expertise in product testing and comprehensive understanding of local regulations, SGS is well-prepared to ensure that childcare products in the UAE meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
In the framework of this latest authorization SGS has been entitled to issue Certificates of Conformity for the following childcare products to be sold in the UAE:
- Tableware/Cutlery and Food Contact Material for Babies
- Soothers for Babies and Toddlers
- Disposable Baby Diapers
- Flexible Teats for Baby Feeding Bottle
- Feeding Bottles, Feeding Bags and Drinking Accessories
Certification serves as proof that these products have undergone the necessary conformity assessment process to ensure its safety and quality.
This new authorization by MoIAT enables us to further contribute to the safety and well-being of children across the UAE.
