European Union adds three harmonized standards used to demonstrate compliance with the Toy Safety Directive (TSD).
On September 14, 2026, the European Union (EU) published Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/2032 (the Decision), revising Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/740 (current consolidated version to December 2025) on harmonized standards in support of the TSD.
What does the Decision require?
The Decision updates the list of harmonized standards supporting the presumption of conformity with the TSD by adding three additional standards and withdrawing one existing standard (see Table 1 below).

When does it apply?
Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/2032 became effective on September 14, 2026, the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the EU.
