Moldova has made several changes to its list of standards for presumption of conformity with the nation’s Technical Regulation on Toy Safety. The latest list of toy safety standards became effective on October 7, 2022.
On October 7, 2022, Moldova’s Ministry of Economy issued Order No. 92 of September 27, 2022 (Order No. 92/2022), to approve the list of Moldovan standards that adopt harmonized European standards for presumption of conformity with the nation’s Technical Regulation on toy safety.
The latest set of standards transposed Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/1992 from the European Union (EU) on harmonized standards in support of Directive 2009/48/EC on toy safety (SafeGuardS 153/21). This new list of standards contains seven changes when compared to Order No. 39/2021 (SafeGuardS 73/21) – inclusion of:

Order 92/2022 repealed Order No. 39/2021 on harmonized standards in support of the nation’s Technical Regulation on toy safety. The new Order can be considered as effective on October 7, 2022 – the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
