Revolutionizing Industrial Operations with Cutting-Edge PUWER Testing Services

June 16, 2026

In today's fast-paced industrial landscape, ensuring the safety and efficiency of work environments is more critical than ever. We are at the forefront of revolutionizing industrial operations through our cutting-edge PUWER services. By leveraging advanced technologies and comprehensive expertise, we help businesses navigate complex regulatory requirements and enhance overall operational performance.

What is PUWER?

The Provision and Use of Work Equipment regulations were established in the UK as part of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 to protect workers from unsafe machinery and equipment.  The current PUWER 1998 regulations, which came into force on December 5, 1998, were created to implement the EU’s Use of Work Equipment Directive (UWED).

These regulations apply to anyone who owns, operates or controls work equipment, and all work environments. They cover almost any equipment used by employees at work, stipulating that it must be safe, maintained and properly assessed.

Our innovative PUWER services

Our machinery testing services encompass a wide range of testing methodologies and include performance testing, safety assessments and compliance verification. From evaluating the functionality of machinery components to assessing their adherence to regulatory standards, our expert teams employ advanced technologies and industry leading practices to deliver accurate and actionable insights.

Benefits include:

  • Enhanced safety and risk mitigation
  • Improved operational efficiency
  • Cost savings and resource optimization

We offer:

  • Comprehensive Risk Assessments to identify hazards before they become problems
  • Training and certification programs, including
    • PUWER awareness training
    • EN 13849-1 (Safety of machinery) awareness training

    • EN ISO 12100 (Safety of machinery) awareness training
  • Ongoing support and consultation

We use cutting edge technologies, enabling companies to integrate advanced tools and software into user-friendly solutions that manage everything from equipment registration to compliance tracking. Our real-time monitoring and reporting systems provide businesses with instant feedback on their operations, enabling them to catch problems before they become catastrophes and make data-driven decisions on the fly.

Staying ahead of future changes

As industries evolve, so do best practices for work equipment regulation compliance. Companies are beginning to adopt a more collaborative approach, using peer audits and shared safety protocols that foster a culture of cooperation.

Additionally, upcoming regulatory changes are likely to focus on more stringent environmental standards and a push for sustainability in equipment use.

We will help you stay on top of these trends, so your business to continue performing at its peak.
