Delegates of SGS took part in the first ever Pakistan Minerals Summit 2023 with the theme “Dust to Development: Investment Opportunities in Pakistan” focusing on unlocking the potential of Pakistan’s mineral resources.
Jointly organized by the Ministry of Petroleum and the Barrick Gold Corporation (Barrick), the goal of this event was to explore the potential of Pakistan minerals resources to boost the country’s development.
SGS Pakistan Managing Director, Abdul Razzak Lakhani, joined the summit along with Business Manager, Syed Faseeh heading Natural Resources, Minerals Services.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister and Army Chief were delighted to participate and enthusiastic for the development of the country’s mineral sector. Attendees included federal and provincial ministers, diplomats, local and foreign investors, plus experts from the minerals and mining industry.
The event offered a great opportunity for interaction and connectivity with global investors, international and local experts, and business leaders of Pakistan. It truly serves the platform for networking, knowledge-sharing and exploring business opportunities in minerals sector.
