SGS provides testing and certification services in Australia and New Zealand for cooking, commercial catering appliances and barbecues; water heaters and space heaters; gas carrying controls; electronic controls; LPG portable and mobile appliances; and other products including gas refrigerators, laundry dryers and gas engines.
If you want to sell gas appliances or components to Australian or New Zealand markets, you must have them tested and certified to ensure compliance with relevant Australian gas safety requirements. (New Zealand recognizes Australian certification for recognized gas types.)
While SGS is progressing approval as a recognized conformity assessment body, we are offering pilot clients early access to the certification program. Once approval and certification are complete, your products will be authorized to carry the Gas Compliance Mark.
