Why this is important to SGS
GRI Content: G4-DMA
As a service-based company operating in multinational locations, there will, inevitably, be certain situations that will test our personal and professional standards. We do not engage in bribery or corruption of any form, nor do we ask intermediaries or contractors to do so on our behalf. Employees and sub-contractors must not offer anything of value to gain a business advantage, or request or accept bribes or other improper advantages. Facilitation payments are not prohibited but employees should strongly resist them and grant them only if refusing would be detrimental to employee safety or SGS business.
Integrity covers our organizational and individual professional conduct and our respect for and behavior toward others.
It also covers the conduct or misconduct of individuals and organizations acting on behalf of, or representing SGS that might pose a threat to SGS assets, including our brand, our people, our physical assets and our intellectual property.
