Customers Rate SGS Peru Inspectors on How Well They Meet Our High Standards of Excellence
When hiring SGS inspectors, our customers want to be sure that they will provide excellent service, focusing on cost efficiency and safety at all times.
SGS Peru has devised a new performance evaluation index, “Yo me encargo” – “I am in charge” – that enables customers to evaluate inspectors, based on four key pillars aligned with our company goals:
- Safety culture
- Service excellence
- Employee development and growth
- Cost efficiency
Customers rate inspectors using a 1-5 scoring scale, with 5 being excellent. Bonus points are awarded to inspectors who receive an average of 4.5 across all criteria.
As well as receiving public recognition, these inspectors receive a diploma, a badge and a food voucher. They are also featured on our internal SGS TV media channel. To date, inspectors in SGS business lines covering consumer retail, food, environmental services, minerals and biological monitoring services have been awarded the “Yo me encargo” diploma.
