SGS awards ISO 21500 and ISO 21502 certificates to Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services

ISO 21500:2021 specifies the organizational context and underlying concepts for undertaking project, programme and portfolio management while ISO 21502:2020 gives guidelines specific to project management. These will guide DCAS to adopt and improve their current and future projects and create huge impacts on the performance of their project management.

The certificates were handed over by Mr. Recep Hakan Sebukcebe, Managing Director for SGS Middle East in the presence of Mr. P. Thalai Malai Rajan, Director for Knowledge Solutions - Arabian Peninsula to Dr. Ayesha Al Mutawa, Director of Strategy & Excellence Department of DCAS and Mrs. Asma Yousuf Zainal, Strategic Projects Manager of DCAS. Mr. Issa Al Ghafari, DCAS Director of Corporate Support Department overseen the certificate presentation along with other team members from the DCAS quality team.

About Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS):

DCAS is a specialized government agency with various ambulance services in the Emirate of Dubai, UAE which are distributed among the general command of Dubai Police and the Department of Health and Medical Services. DCAS has 68 ground stations within the emirate of Dubai and a fleet of 177 ambulance vehicles of various types, including Type: A - B - C, and a number of 4 x 4 vehicles and Golf units, augmented by 3 mass casualty buses, among is considered to be the largest in the world.
