The updated catalogue was issued by the CNCA and came into effect at the end of April.
The Certification and Accreditation Administration of People’s Republic of China (CNCA) issued an "Announcement on Optimalization of the Catalogue of Compulsory Product Certification" (No.18, 2020) and “The Reference Correspondence Table for Products within the scope of the Compulsory Product Certification and 2020 Commodity Numbers” (No. 21, 2020) at the end of April 2020.
In line with previous adjustments of mandatory product certification catalogues, the CNCA has merged and changed a few product categories in the catalogue without changing the scope of the mandatory product certification. The updated compulsory product certification catalogue contains a total of 17 categories and 103 products. Correspondingly, the standards applicable to products, and the HS codes in the "Reference Table" have also been adjusted.
