Product Recall Trends in Cosmetics, Personal Care and Household: Q2 2019
Recalls of cosmetics, personal care and household products decreased by 32% in the EU, in comparison with Q1 2019.
In the USA, recalls of CPCH products also decreased by 33% compared with the previous quarter. In the EU there were a total of 19 recalls all for cosmetics with the main risk being chemical.
The USA saw a total of 10 recalls, also all for cosmetics. The main risks being wrongly labelled or microbiological.
