SGS is pleased to announce the opening of a new trade services execution, field operations and agricultural laboratory, in Vancouver, Washington. With its extensive experience in port operations, SGS offers a wide range of services to help our clients mitigate risks they might face while importing into or exporting from the United States.
Our new facility will assist clients at ports across the area with services including:
- Grain vessel attendance
- Pre-inspection services
- Oil tanker attendance
- Shore tank gauging
- Probe and/or other types of sampling methods used for railcars, trucks, barges, containers
- Grain inspection and grading
- On-Site Grading and Analysis, including, but not limited to:
- Falling Number
Robert Berguno will be heading operations at this location. He was previously located at SGS US Trade Services headquartered in St. Rose, Louisiana. Rob joined SGS in 2013 and has held positions in both execution and operation groups. His experience will allow SGS US Trade - Pacific Northwest to provide personal customer care, timely results/reporting, and cost savings to our valuable clients in the region.
SGS US Trade Services is ISO 9001:2015 certified and a member of AOCS, GAFTA, and FOSFA and utilizes validated methods of inspection. Our US Trade Services network of laboratories is also ISO 17025 accredited.
