SGS, is delighted to announce the opening of its new, state-of-the-art, food microbiological testing laboratory in Carson, California.

The high-tech facility expands the expertise, geographical coverage and capabilities of SGS’s food laboratories to its global network of agriculture and food labs. It offers food producers, manufacturers and suppliers a full spectrum of food and agricultural testing services across every food category.

Utilizing a robust information technology platform, the facility delivers the critical support services that the industry requires from a laboratory partner: access to technical experts and the latest microbiological and analytical equipment, friendly customer service, and rapid turn-around times that reduce time to market and sample pick-up.

The lab team offers additional chemical testing capabilities, including DNA testing and next generation sequencing (NGS) technologies, via our Brookings South Dakota Food Chemical testing center of excellence.
