SGS is proud to have been a gold sponsor of this week’s FORWARD, the SME Innovation Forum, on February 7, at EPFL's SwissTech Convention Center.

As a key player of innovation and digitalization, SGS helps and supports small to medium enterprises (SMEs) through their digital transformation. At the same time, the company is also at the forefront of cybersecurity advocacy and product research, the Internet-of-Things (IoT), and network assessment and monitoring.

At FORWARD, Fred Herren, Senior Vice President Digital and Innovation at SGS, took part in a roundtable to share SGS’s experience of digital transformation. He said, “SGS has a pioneering role in supporting innovation and digitalization for SMEs. We work with companies across all sectors and adapt our services to help them innovate while ensuring that they are compliant with international standards.”

SME partnership

Focusing on SME partnerships, Reto Kressig, SGS’s International Solutions Manager for AFL, presented SGS Digicomply, a digital platform that continuously monitors hundreds of relevant sources from around the world and provides information on food safety, compliance and traceability, during the event.
