SGS was a sponsor and participant at LauzHack 2018, a student-run hackathon that took place at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland on November 24 and 25.

Students and recent graduates demonstrated their knowledge of cybersecurity by working together to solve challenges created by the event’s sponsors. Prizes were awarded for the most innovative solutions.

Our CyberLab team challenged student programmers to hack seven IoT devices, including smart lightbulbs, IP cameras, access controls and sensors. The winner of our challenge, team NeuralNet (Bernart Torres and Xavier Perarnau), hacked the devices in record breaking time.
